Nicola Tyche

Fiction & Fantasy WRITER

Nicola has always had a passion for writing, and recently published her debut romantic fantasy series, Crowns.

Suspenseful plot twists, strong heroines, complex men, and melt-your-insides anti-heroes are ingredients for every book, and she is also a sucker for a good love story. She’s an obsessive writer, writing every day, and wishing she had more hours to spend with fictional characters.

When Nicola isn’t writing

Nicola lives in Vancouver, Washington, with her husband and three daughters. When she isn’t writing, she enjoys tacos, traveling, gardening, exploring the great outdoors, and other creative projects.

In October of 2022, Nicola was diagnosed with Stage II breast cancer. With early detection and the incredible team at OHSU’s Knight Cancer Center, she’s now well on her path to recovery. One in eight women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime, and early detection is key against the disease that claims the lives of more than 42,000 women each year. To survivors and fellow women facing this battle, you’re already a friend. Don’t hesitate to reach out and connect.
